Pagpanaw ni Sec. Toots Ople ipinagluluksa ng Simbahan Katoliko
Nagluluksa ang Simbahang Katolika sa pagpanaw ni Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Ople.
Ayon kay Antipolo Bishop Ruperto Santos, vice chairman ng Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines, malungkot na balita ang pagpanaw ni Ople lalo na sa mga overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
“It is sad news, a very sad occasion especially for our OFWs. Her heart is completely for them. Her whole life is for our country. She serves well, doing all sacrifices for best of our nation and utmost welfare of our people. We lose a hero. Yet her legacy as of her father, Blas lives on,” pahayag ni Santos.
“We, at CBCP-ECMI, pray and offer our Holy Masses for her eternal rest. She now goes home to God, residing peacefully in Heaven. We are one with our OFWs and her family in this moment of sorrow and bereavement. Our prayers and holy Masses,” dagdag pa nito.
Pumanaw kahapon si ople sa edad na 61 makalipas ang ilang taon na paglaban sa cancer.
