Makati LGU may “go signal” ni VP Sara sa distribusyon ng school supplies

Pinayagan ni Vice President at Education Secretary Sara Duterte si Makati City Mayor Abby Binay na mamahagi ng school  supplies sa 45,0000 estudyante  ng 14 na public schools sa “EMBO” barangays. “It is such a relief for the city government of Makati, but most especially for the thousands of affected students and their parents who have been anxiously waiting and hoping for the favorable resolution of the impasse with Taguig on this issue. Finally, we will be able to carry out this annual tradition and ensure that the students will be ready on school opening,” pahayag ni Binay. Natanggap ni Binay ang sulat mula sa DepEd noong Agosto 22. “On behalf of the city government and all the intended beneficiaries in the 14 public schools, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Vice President and DepEd Secretary Sara Duterte. We are thankful that she has the best interest of the students at heart in making a prudent and just decision,” ani Binay. Sa ilalim ng  Project FREE (Free Relevant and Excellent Education), ang mga public school student mula kinder hanggang senior high school, kasama na ang Special Education students ay makatatanggap ng libreng uniporme at school supplies mula sa pamahalaan ng Makati City. Makatatanggap din naman ng ng  PE T-shirt at jogging pants ang nga estudyante sa lahat ng antas. Binigyan naman ng school bags, caps at dengue kits ang mga estudyante sa Kinder habang ang mga elementary students ay makatatanggap ng isang pares ng sapatos, tatlong pares ng medyas. Ang  14 public schools ay binubuo ng Fort Bonifacio Elementary School, Cembo Elementary School, South Cembo Elementary School, Pitogo Elementary School, East Rembo Elementary School, Rizal Elementary School, Comembo Elementary School, West Rembo Elementary School, Pembo Elementary School, Makati Science High School, Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino High School, Tibagan High School, Fort Bonifacio High School, at Pitogo High School.
