Radio host pinatay sa Cotabato

 

Mariing kinondena ng Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS) ang pagpatay sa isang Muslim radio anchor sa Cotabato City.

Nakilala ang biktima na si Mohammad Hessam Midtimbang, 32 anyos at host ng Bangsamoro Darul Ifta radio program na umeere sa Gabay Radio 97.7 FM.

Ayon kay PTFoMS chief Paul Gutierrez, walang puwang sa sosyodad ang karahasan.

“We condemn this senseless act of violence as it has no place in our society,” pahayag ni Gutierrez.

Nakipag-ugnayan na si Gutierrez sa Philippine National Police para sa isinasagawang imbestigasyon.

“Pending the result of the investigation as to the motive of the attack, we consider this as related to the work of the victim as a radio anchor,” pahayag ni Gutierrez.
