Self-contained classroom inilunsad ng Deped at Microsoft
Inilunsad ng Department of Education (DepEd) at ng Microsoft ang seld-contained, transportable classroom na maaring magamit ng mga estudyante sa mga eskwelahang nasa malalayong lugar.
Ang “Egg Project” ay kapapalooban ng mga classroom na gawa sa container vans na maaring mailipat sa malalayong lugar.
Gamit ang refurbished container van, ang classroom ay kayang itayo sa loob lamang ng tatlong araw.
High-tech ang loob ng mobile classroom na mayroong sariling generator at backup batteries at atmospheric water condenser.
Kasya sa classroom ang nasa 30 estudyante na may kani-kaniyang computers at mayroon pang screen projector na maaring magamit ng guro sa pagtuturo.
Solar panel ang ibabaw ng classroom at mayroon itong retractable roof.
Maliban dito, mayroon itong atmospheric water generator na kayang ipunin ang humidity at rainwater at gawin itong inuming tubig.
Target ng Deped at Microsoft na maipagamit ang unang mobile classroom sa lalawigan ng Bohol sa susunod na buwan.
