EO para sa National Security Policy, aprubado na ni Pangulong Marcos
Inaprubahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang adoption ng National Security Policy (NSP) 2023-2028.
Ito ay para masigurong maabot ang layunin ng gobyerno na magkaroon ng malaya, united, secure, peaceful, resilient at matagumpay na Pilipinas.
Base sa dalawang pahinang Executive Order No. 37 na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, inaatasan ang lahat ng tanggapan ng gobyerno pati na ang government-owned or -controlled corporations (GOCCs) at local government units (LGUs) na sumunod sa NSP 2023-2028 at bumalngkas ng mga programa na naayon sa security-related strategies at programs.
Inaatasan din ang lahat na magpatupad ng whole-of-government approach para matugunan ang national security issues.
Inaatasan naman ang mga bumubuo sa NSP 2023-2028 na magsagawa ng periodic assessment at magsumite ng report kay Pangulong Marcos at sa National Security Council (NSC).
“For this purpose, the NSC, through the NSA, shall monitor the implementation of the NSP 2023-2028, and upon consultation with and concurrence of relevant government agencies, GOCCS, and LGUs, shall propose memoranda, circulars and other orders related to the implementation thereof, for the approval of the President,” saad ng EO.
