John Lloyd Cruz nanalong best actor sa 76th Locarno Film Festival sa Switzerland

Nasungkit ni John Lloyd Cruz ang Boccalino d’Oro prize (Golden Jug Award) para sa best actor award sa 76th Locarno Film Festival sa Switzerland.
Ito ay para sa pelikulang “Essential Truth of the Lake” ni Lav Diaz.
Si John Lloyd ang ikalawang Filipino actor na nakatanggap ng kaparehong award.
Unang nanalo si Hazel Orencio bilang best actress noong 2014 para sa pelikulang “Mula sa Kung Ano ang Noon” (From What is Before) ni Lav Diaz.
Ang Premio Boccalino d’Oro ay isang parangal ng Independent Critics Jury.
“We were surprised with the news that he was given this particular award this year,” pahayag ni Diaz sa Inquirer Entertainment.
“This is special and is an extremely important award given by critics, scholars and experts in cinema here in Europe,” dagdag ni Diaz.
