VP Sara dinipensahan P150-M confidential fund ng DepEd
Bahala na ang Senado at Kamara sa hinihingi ng Department of Education (DepEd) na P150 million confidential fund para sa susunod na taon, ayon kay Vice President at Education Secretary Sara Duterte.
Kasabay nito, binigyang-katuwiran ni Duterte ang pangangailangan ng DepEd ng confidential fund.
“Because education is intertwined with national security. Napakahalaga na we mold children who are patriotic, children who will love our country, and who will defend our country,” aniya.
Ngunit tumanggi ito na idetalye ang paggagamitan ng naturang pondo.
Ang pondo ay bahagi ng P9.2 confidential fund na nakapaloob sa 2024 National Expenditure Program (NEP) na isinumite na ng Department of Budget and Management sa Kamara.
