Humataw sa 3.344 milyon subscribers ng Globe ang humabol sa deadline ng SIM registration noong nakaraang Martes.
Sa sumunod na araw ng Miyerkules, unang araw ng reactivation, 452,997 ang tumalima sa panawagan ng Globe. Kahapon, may 126,344 subscribers naman ang nagparehistro ng SIM.
Sa kabuuan hanggang kahapon umabot sa 52.302 milyong SIM registrations na ang naitala ng Globe, kabilang ang SIMs ng Globe Prepaid, Globe Postpaid, Globe Platinum, TM, Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi, at Globe Business.
Pagbabahagi pa ng Globe, lumabas sa kanilang survey na marami ang hindi umabot sa deadline ng SIM registration dahil sa naging abala sa ibat-ibang prayoridad.
“We were surprised yet happy with the turnout over the seven-month period of SIM registration, as we have been able to cover nearly all our active users. We thank our customers for heeding our call for SIM registration via various communications channels- from print, radio, TV, and digital platforms– and our on-ground activations to reach the elderly, PWDs, pregnant women, basic and feature phone users, and those in remote areas,” ayon kay Globe Group President and CEO Ernest Cu.
Matatandaang nagbukas ang Globe ng iba’t ibang SIM registration platform para mapadali ang proseso para sa mga customer nito, kabilang na ang online portal, ang GlobeOne app, GCash, at ang bulk registration portal para sa enterprise customers nito.
Nagsagawa naman ng SIM Registration Assistance Desks ang Globe sa 1,572 lugar sa buong kapuluan.
