Binigyan ng pagkilala ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang mahalagang papel na ginagampanan ng business sector sa bansa.
Sa pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos sa pagbubukas ng Third APEC Business Advisory Council Meeting (ABAC 3) sa Cebu City, sinabi nito na kaya lumalakas ang ekonomiya ng bansa dahil sa mga negosyante.
“Finally, we need not only the cooperation but the leadership of the business sector in setting up standards on responsible business conduct that will encourage sustainable practices while balancing rapid growth, not a simple job to do,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
“Opportunities abound for our people if APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) preserves its strength as an incubator of ideas, driven in large part by the significant contributions of ABAC and the dynamism of the business community in our region,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
Sabi ng Pangulo, pinatuyan ng member economies ng APEC na ang ilang mga kasunduan ay naidadaan sa multilateral trading system.
Ayon sa Pangulo, malaking tulong ang digitalization at innovation para maging maayos ang pagnenegosyo sa bansa.
“Establishing a dynamic and innovative ecosystem is one of the cross-cutting strategies in our transformation agenda,” sabi ni Pangulong Marcos.
