“I hope my prayers reach you despite the challenging weather conditions that have been affecting our region. As we have been praying for the safety and well-being of our brothers and sisters in Northern Luzon who were battling the fury of Typhoon Egay, a tragic incident unfolded right here in our Diocese, leaving us in a state of profound grief and despair,” pahayag ni Bishop Santos.

“In the face of such tragedy, we feel a deep sense of responsibility to extend a helping hand to those who are most vulnerable. Offering healing through prayers and visits can provide much-needed emotional support to the affected families as they cope with their loss.  We will  also extend financial help to support them during their period of mourning and recovery,” pahayag ni Bishop Santos.

“However, the scale of this tragedy and its far-reaching consequences have overwhelmed our available resources. Therefore, we seek your generosity to make a significant impact in the lives of those affected. We will have a special collection this coming Sunday for this intention,” pahayag ni Bishop Santos.

Nakaligtas naman sa trahedya ang 40 iba pa.

“We understand that times may be tough for many, but any assistance you can provide will go a long way in offering hope and healing to those affected by this tragedy,” pahayag ni Bishop Santos.
