State of National Emergency sa Mindanao binawi na ni PBBM
Dahil sa pagbuti ng sitwasyon sa seguridad at kaayusan, binawi na ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., ang state of national emergency sa Mindanao.
Base ito sa Proclamation No. 208 na pinirmahan ni Executive Sec. Lucas Bersamin noong Martes, Huly0 25, kasabay ng pag-alis ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. patungong Malaysia.
Ikinatuwiran sa Proklamasyon ang pagbuti na ng sitwasyon sa Mindanao.
Pinaniniwalaan na ang hakbang ay makakabuti para sa pagbuti ng ekonomiya sa rehiyon.
“Through successful focused military and law enforcement operations and programs that promote sustainable and inclusive peace, the government has made significant gains in improving and restoring peace and order in the region,” ayon sa naturang Proklamasyon.
Idineklara ni dating Pangulong Duterte ang state of national emergency noong Setyembre 4, 2016 dalawang araw matapos ang pagsabog sa Davao City na nagresulta sa pagkasawi ng 14 katao at pagkakasugat ng 60 iba pa.
Ipinunto din ang mga karahasan na kagagawan ng private armies, local warlords, bandido, criminal syndicates, terrorist groups, at religious extremists.
Duterte’s Proclamation came after the bombing in Davao City on Sept. 2, 2016, that killed 14 people and seriously wounded at least 60 others.
