Niyanig ng magnitude-4.8 earthquake ang Davao Occidental kaninang madaling araw.
Naitala ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) ang lindol ala-1-:47 at ang sentro nito ay 98 kilomero Timog-silangan ng Balut Island sa bayan ng Sarangani.
Ito ay may lalim na 18 kilometro.
Walang inaasahan aftershocks at pinsala na idinulot ang lindol.
Walang naiulat sa Office of Civil Defense-Southern Mindanao at Davao Occidental Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council na nasaktan bunga ng pagyanig.
