Nalalapit na ang pagsasampa ng mga kinauukulang kaso laban sa smugglers at hoarders.
Ito ang pagtitiyak ni Executive Sec. Lucas Bersamin matapos ang babala ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., sa mga ito sa kanyang ikalawang State of the Nation Address (SONA) kahapon.
“I think it will be very soon that cases will be filed against the real responsible for smuggling and food hoarding,” ani Bersamin.
Pagbabahagi pa nito, nakumpirma na ang intelligence reports ukol sa pagkatao ng smugglers at hoarders.
“Their names have already been mentioned in prior administrations as engaged in smuggling of food products and they are very, very hazardous to our economy and our health,” dagdag pa ni Bersamin.
Una nang inutusan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., angDepartment of Justice (DOJ) na bumuo ng task force para imbestigahan ang smuggling at hoarding sa bansa.
