Volcanic quakes sa Mayon nabawasan, ibinubugang asupre dumami
Nasa 184 volcanic earthquakes, 156 rockfall events at apat na pyroclastic density current events ang naging aktibidad ng Bulkang Mayon sa nakalipas na 24 oras.
Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), nasa 2,047 tonelada ng sulfur dioxide ang ibinuga ng bulkan.
Katamtaman ang pagsingaw ng plume at napadpad sa timog-silangan at silangan-timog-silangan.
Naging mabagal ang pagdaloy ng lava mula sa crater ng bulkan na may haba na 2.8 kilometro sa Mi-isi Gully at sa Bonga Gully, at 600 metro sa Basud Gully.
Umagos ang lava ng hanggang apat na kilometro mula sa crater.
Nanatili sa Alert Level 3 ang bulkan.
