9 LEDAC priority bills tiniyak ni Romualdez na agad tatalakayin sa Kamara

Sa 44 panukala na inilatag ng  Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council(LEDAC), 35 na ang naaprubahan sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ng Kamara.

Kabilang na sa mga naaprubahan, ayon kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez, ang dalawa na naidagdag ng LEDAC.

Kayat, dagdag ni Romualdez, sa pagsisimula ng 2nd Regular Session ng 19th Congress ngayon araw, siyam na lamang sa mga panukala ang tatalakayin nila sa Kamara.

“We have walked the talk on helping the President legislate his priorities. We have delivered on our promise,” ani Romualdez.

Binanggit nito ang natitrang “LEDAC bills” at ito ang mga isinusulong na Natural Gas Industry Enabling Law; Philippine Ecosystem and Natural Capital Accounting System Bill; National Employment Action Plan; pagbuo sa Department of Water Services and Resources; pag-amyenda sa  Electric Power Industry Act; Anti-Agricultural Smuggling Act; Budget Modernization; National Defense Act; at Unified System of Separation, Retirement and Pension for Uniformed Personnel.

Aniya naipasa na nila ang naidagdag sa huling pagpupulong ng LEDAC panukalang Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act (AFASA) gayundin ang panukalang pag-amyenda sa  Amending Bank Secrecy Law.
