Inaprubahan ng National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) Board na pinamumunuan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang tatlo pang infrastructure projectS na magpapalakas ng connectivity sa bansa.
Tinukoy ni NEDA Sec. Arsenio Balisacan ang isa sa mga proyekto. Ito ay ang P170-billion Solicited Proposal to Rehabilitate, Operate, Expand, and Transfer ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport Project, na dadaan sa public-private partnership.
“This initiative seeks to address long-standing issues at NAIA, including inadequate capacity and restricted aircraft movement,’ aniya.
Target ng proyekto na taasan ang annual airport capacity mula sa kasalukuyang 35 milyong pasahero kada taon sa 65 milyong pasahero at inaasahan na matatapos ito sa susunod na taon.
Isa rin aniya sa mga inaprubahan ng Pangulo ang Samar Pacific Coastal Road II Project, na may P7.48 bilyong project, kabilang ang pagtatayo ng dalawang marine bridges na Laoang II Bridge at Calomotan Bridge.
Inaprubahan din ng Pangulo ang pag-aayos ng Laguindingan International Airport Project na pinondohan ng P12.75 bilyon.
