1,354 MMDA personnel sa SONA traffic, traffic plan ready na

Magpapakalat ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ng  1,354 personnel para sa pagasasa-ayos ng trapiko sa Lunes, Hulyo 24, kasabay ng ikalawang  State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni  President Marcos Jr.

Sinabi ni MMDA acting Chairman Don Artes inatasan na rin nila ang kanilang mga tauhan na magsagawa ng “road and sidewalk clearing operations” bago ang SONA.

Tutulong din aniya ang kanilang mga tauhan sa emergency response, crowd control at  traffic monitoring, gayundin ang pagsubaybay sa  transport strike. 

“Preparations are in full swing for us to ensure that traffic will be orderly along Commonwealth Avenue, IBP Road, and all other thoroughfares surrounding the House of Representatives. SONA-related activities,” aniya.

Pinatitiyak din niya na ang lahat ng kanilang itinalagang tauhan  ay naka-duty sa Lunes at ipinahanda na rin niya ang kanilang ambulances, tow trucks, mobile patrol units, motorcycle units, at flood mitigation equipment.

Samantala, magpapatupad ang MMDA ng zipper lane o counterflow sa southbound portions ng Commonwealth Avenue.

Inabisuhan ang mga motorista na humanap ng mga alteratibong kalsada.
