P240-M halaga ng fake branded at luxury goods nasamsam sa Subic
Nadiskubre ng mga ahente ng Bureau of Customs – Port of Subic ang dalawang container vans na naglalaman ng mga fake luxury at branded products.
Kabilang sa mga nasamsam ay mga pinekeng Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Adidas, Calvin Klein, Under Armour, Lacoste, GAP, Nike, Zara, at Reebok.
Isinagawa ang physical examinations sa mga laman ng dalawang container vans base sa impormasyon na may posibleng paglabag sa Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) regulations.
Nabatid na ang mga produkto ay nakalagay sa 1,269 kahon na idineklarang naglallaman ng t-shirts.
Nagpalabas na ng warrants of Seizure and Detention sa mga pekeng produkto base sa paglabag sa RA 8293 o ang Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines), kaugnay na rin sa RA 10863 o ang Customs Modernization and Tariffication Act.
