“Safety nets” sa medical marijuana use pinatitiyak ni Sen. JV Ejercito
Nagpahayag ng interes si Deputy Majority Leader JV Ejercito na malaman ang posisyon ng mga kinauukulang ahensiya ng gobyerno ukol sa paggamit ng marijuana sa mga may sakit sa bansa.
Sinabi ito ni Ejercito sa pagdinig ng Committee on Health ukol sa paggamit sa marijuana bilang alternatibo paraan ng paggamot sa ilang sakit.
“I would like to reiterate that we are for medical use compassionate use and not for recreational use, If this will help or lessen the illness or sickness…if this could help cancer patients or those with neurological disorder,” banggit ng senador.
Ibinahagi niya na may kaanak siyang may epilepsy at aniya sa tuwing bibigyan ito ng “cannabis” ay hindi ito nakakaranas ng “seizure.”
Nais lang ni Ejercito na matiyak na may mga konkretong “safety nets and safeguards” upang matiyak na hindi magagamit ang marijuana maliban sa paggamot sa ilang sakit.
