Lalo pang bumilis ang Tropical Depression Dodong habang kumikilos sa kanluran na direksyon at nasa karagatan ng Laoag, Ilocos Norte.
Base sa 5:00 p.m. advisory ng Pagasa, Nasa Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No.1 ang Cagayan kasama na ang babuyan Islands, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Abra, Ilocos Sur, Mountain Province, Kalinga at hilagang bahagi ng Isabela (Mallig, Quezon, Santa Maria, Cabagan, Delfin Albano, Tumauini, Santo Tommas, San Pablo at Maconacon).
Namataan ang sentro ng bagyo sa karagatan ng Laoag.
Kumikilos ang bagyo patungong kanluran sa bilis na 20 kilometro kada oras.
Taglay ng bagyo ang hangin na 45 kilometro kada oras at pagbugso na 75 kilometro kada oras.
Inaasahang lalabas sa Philippine Area of responsibility ang bagyo sa Hulyo 16.
