Ito ang aasahan sa Pilipinas matapos lagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Executive Order No. 18 o Green Lanes for Strategic Investments na maghihikayat ng higit na pamumuhunan sa bansa.
Sabi ni Pangulong Marcos, mabibigyan ng maraming oportunidad ang mga Filipino.
“It is long overdue to have reforms that will not only attract more investments into the country but will also create an environment conducive to business growth and development. So today, we take a huge leap forward, ushering in a new era of efficiency and collaboration within and without,” sabi ni Pangulong Marcos.
Ayon sa Pangulo, makikipagsabayan na ang Pilipinas sa mga kapitbahay na bansa sa Southeast Asia sa pagbibigay ng mabilis at simpleng proseso sa pagnenegosyo.
“The requirements for investors to come in completely put our systems in the shade. Whereas some permits take – well I’m sure you will recognize the – when I describe them, there are some permits that take 36 months to complete. Whereas you go to Thailand, you go to Indonesia, you go to Vietnam, they take two weeks to complete,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
