Motorists and commuters were stuck for hours in traffic along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) on Thursday, July 13, as heavy rains flooded portions of the road particularly the Bicutan area.

An advisory issued by SLEX-MaTES as of 8:27 a.m., which operates SLEX, stated that the tail-end of the northbound traffic from Alabang viaduct in Muntinlupa is 15.6 km. while the southbound portion is 1.8 km.
