Napunta kay Judge Gener Gito ng Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 206 ang Case 17-167.
Una nang hinawakan ni Gito ang naturang kaso ngunit binitawan niya alinsunod sa isang circular mula sa Office of the Court Administrator (OCA).
Una nang nagbitiw sa kaso sina Judge Romeo Buenaventura ng Regional Trial Court Branch 256 matapos tanggihan ang petisyon ni de Lima na makapag-piyansa.
Kasunod nito ay napunta kay Judge Abraham Joseph Alcantara ng Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 204 kaso ngunit nagbitiw din ito sa kahilingan ng mga taga-usig mula sa Department of Justice.
Unang pinawalang-sala ni Alcantara sa isang katulad na kaso si de Lima.
