Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang inagurasyon ng 24.9-Megawatt Lake Mainit Hydroelectric Power Plant sa Agusan del Norte.
Ani Pangulong Marcos Jr., malaking hakbang to para magkaroon ng regional energy security at naging posible ito sa pagsasanib puwersa ng Markham Resources at J-POWER Group ng Pilipinas at Japan.
“The development of this hydropower site is a defining step towards our goal of securing much-needed power for the people of Agusan del Norte and its neighboring areas by taking advantage of its water resources,” sabi ng Punong Ehekutibo.
“The Lake Mainit hydroelectric run-of-river power project offers several benefits and is expected to sustainably serve around 45,000 households,” dagdag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Nasa 100,871 megawatts ng “clean and affordable energy” ang malilikha ng bagong planta.
