Marcos sa PAGCOR: Maging socially impactful sa gaming practices

Umaasa si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na magiging socially impactful ang Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
Sa talumpati ng Pangulo sa ika-40 anibersaryo ng PAGCOR, sinabi nito binago nito ang pananaw ng publiko hindi lamang sa gaming, entertainment at turismo.
Pinalaki kasi aniya ng PAGCOR ang papel nito sa public service at nation building.
“It is my hope that this anniversary will inspire you to continue setting new standards and keep being at the forefront of an industry that is not only financially successful but also socially impactful and most importantly socially relevant,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Sabi ng Pangulo, dapat na maging front ang PAGCOR sa pagiging responsable at may integridad.
Sabi ni PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengco, nasa P607 bilyon ang naging kontribusyon ng kanilang hanay sa pamahalaan.
Nasa P64 bilyon naman ang total dividend remittances ng PAGCOR simula noong 2011.
Sa kabuuan, nasa P671 bilyon ang kontribusyon sa pamahalaan.
Sabi ni Tengco, target ng kanilang hanay na makapagbigay ng P70 bilyong kontribusyon ngayong taon.
