Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco naghain ng leave of absence sa trabaho

Kinumpirma ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na pansamantalang lumiban sa trabaho si Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco.

Ayon kay Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil, ito ay matapos aprubahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang inihaing leave of absence ni Frasco.

Matatandaan na nadawit sa kontrobersiya si Frasco sa paglulunsad ng bagong tourism campaign ng Pilipinas na “Love the Philippines” noong Hunyo 27.

Gumamit kasi ang ad agency na kinuha ng DOT ng stock na photo mula sa ibang bansa.

Sa inilabas na pahayag ng Department of Tourism, nag-apply ng leave si Frasco noong Mayo 9, 2023 at inaprubahan ng Office of the President noong Mayo 23, 2023.

“The purpose of the short leave beginning July 13-21 consisting of only seven working days, is to spend time with her young family,” pahayag ng DOT.

Kinumpirma naman ng DOT na dadalo si Frasco sa ikalawang State of the Nation Address ni Pangulong Marcos sa Hulyo 24.

“Any insinuation to the contrary is false,” pahayag ng DOT.
