PCG gigisahin sa budget deliberation sa Senado dahil sa bulletproof SUV
Tiniyak ni Senate Minority Leader Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III na kukuwestiyonin niya ang pagbili ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) pagsapit ng deliberasyon ng 2024 budget ng mga ahensiya ng gobyerno.
“We will question (them) during the budget season,” pahayag ni Pimentel.
Sinabi naman ni Sen. Sonny Angara na dapat ay batid ng PCG ang mga polisiya ng gobyerno ukol sa pagbili ng mga gamit.
“They should have been aware about administrative issuance and government policies in buying vehicles,” sabi ni Angara.
Dagdag pa ng senador trabaho ng mga abogado ng mga ahensiya na alamin ang mga polisiya ng gobyerno.
Unang pinuna ng Commission on Audit (COA), ang pagbili ng PCG ng luxury bulletproof sports utility vehicle (SUV) sa halagang P7.8 milyon noong nakaraang taon na paglabag sa Administrative Order (AO) No. 14.
