Bishop Pablo David muling nahalal bilang CBCP president
Muling nahalal bilang pangulo ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines si Caloocan Bishop Pablo Virgilio David.
Ito ay matapos magsagawa ng eleksyon ang mga obispo sa ginaganap na 126th plenary assembly sa Kalibo Aklan.
Ayon sa ulat ng CBCP News, nasa 80 obispo ang dumalo sa tatlong araw na assembly.
Ito na ang ikalawang termino ni David na tatagal ng dalawang taon.
Muli ring nahalal bilang CBCP Vice President si Pasig Bishop Mylo Hubert Vergara.
Unang nahalal sina David at Vergara sa puwesto noong Hulyo 2021.
