Frasco lusot sa “Love the Philippines” fiasco

Hindi sisibakin ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco.

Ito ay sa kabila ng kontrobersiyal na campaign slogan ng Department of Tourism na “Love the Philippines” kung saan kinuha ang ilang video sa ibang bansa.

Sa ambush interview kay Pangulong Marcos sa Taguig City, sinabi nito na mabilis ang naging aksyon ni Frasco sa naturang fiasco.

Matatandaang agad na tinuldukan ni Frasco ang kontrata sa kompanyang DDB Philippines nang mabuking na nanguha ng video sa ibang bansa.

Ang DDB Philippines ang kompanyang kinontrata ng DOT para gumagawa ng “Love the Philippines” campaign slogan.

“Yes absolutely. No question. I spoke to her, I have been actually but in fact since all of these came to the fore,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos nang tanungin kung buo pa rin ang tiwala kay Frasco.

“At nakita ko naman mabilis ang galaw niya that she terminated the contracts that were in question. She has also since then put under review all of the other contracts that were in the pipeline. Kaya’t sa aking palagay she has it under control, she knows what to do, what she has done so far inspires confidence that she will fix the problem and that the campaign of “Love the Philippines” will be as successful as we hope for it to be,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
