Maharlika bill pipirmahan bago ang SONA – Budget chief
Lalagdaan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang kanyang pet bill na Maharlika Investment Fund Act o House Bill 6608 bago ang State of the Nation Address (SONA) sa Hulyo 24.
Ayon kay Budget Sec. Amenah Pangandaman, itinutulak ng economic team na malagdaan ang panukala bago ang SONA at naiendorso na ito sa Office of the President ang Maharlika Bill.
Magugunita na Disyembre noong nakaraang taon nang itulak ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., ang Maharlika Investment Fund para mapondohan ang mga proyekto ng gobyerno.
Samantala, sinabi naman ni Presidential Communications Office Sec. Cheloy Garafil na bukod sa Maharlika bill, hinihintay na lamang din na malagdaan ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., ang Department of Health Specialty Centers Act o House Bill 7751 at New Agrarian Eancipation Act o House Bill 6336
