Subscribers pinaalahanan ng Globe sa SIM registration deadline
Nagpaalala ang Globe sa kanilang prepaid, TM, at Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi customers sa nalalapit na deadline ng SIM registration.
Sa Hulyo 25 ang final extension ng deadline na itinakda ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
Ayon sa Globe marami pa rin sa SIM users ang hindi nagpapa-rehistro at ito ay alinsunod sa Republic Act (RA) 11934 o ang Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Registration Law.
Paalala pa na layon ng batas ay mabigyan proteksyon ng gobyerno at telcos ang mga konsyumer laban sa mga scammer at iba pang cyber criminals.
Dagdag paalala din na ang lahat ng unregistered SIM ay made-deactivate, na mangangahulugan na hindi na magagamit sa pagtawag, text o kahit pag-browse sa social media accounts.
Apektado din ang online payments, transportation booking at deliveries, at access sa mobile data para sa pag-aaral, mga raket at libangan.
Mawawala rin ang prepaid load balance at mga active promo subscription.
