Reso ng gobyerno sa UN minamadali ni Hontiveros dahil sa pagtugis sa 2 PCG vessels
Nanawagan si Senator Risa Hontiveros na gawing prayoridad sa Senado ang deliberasyon sa resolusyon na ang layon ay patuldukan na ng United Nations sa China ang pambu-bully sa West Philippine Sea.
Kasunod iti nang pagtugis sa dalawang Philippine Coast Guard vessels ng Chinese Cost Guard at Chinese militia vesels noong Hunyo 30.
Nabatid na ang dalawang PCG vessels ay nasa “re-supply missions.”
“China is reckless and irresponsible. Her continued attempts to illegally occupy our territories only demonstrate her complete disrespect of international law,” ani Hontiveros.
Kayat aniya: “This is why it is crucial that the Philippine government raise the West Philippine Sea issue to the UN General Assembly.”
Kayat umaasa siya na agad nang matatalakay sa Senado ang inihain niyang resolusyon at susuportahan ng mayorya ng mga kapwa niya senador.
