DOT nabudol sa “Love the Philippines” video, ipinauulit ni Angara
Sinabi ni Senator Sonny Angara na dapat ay ulitin na buo ang “Love the Philippines” promotional video.
Ito ay matapos madiskubre na “stock videos” ang ginamit sa ilang bahagi ng naturang video ng Department of Tourism (DOT).
Ayon kay Angara makatuwiran lang na baguhin ang video dahil ginastusan ito ng gobyerno ng P49 milyon para sa bagong tourism slogan.
“They should at the very least redo the campaign video. Parang nalugi ang gobyerno. Dapat may konting pride tayo sa ating trabaho especially if we are selling and marketing the Philippines,” sabi ng senador.
Una nang inamin at humingi ng paumanhin ang DDB Philippines, ang ad agency na gumawa at nagpalabas ng naturang promotional video, sa paggamit ng “stock footages” mula saThailand, Indonesia, atUnited Arab Emirates.
Nilinaw na rin na walang kinalaman ang kagawaran sa naturang kontrobersyal na video.
