13 foreign POGO workers hiniling sa NCRPO na ipagamot

Sumulat na kay National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief, Major General Edgar Okubo ang abogado ng Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub sa Las Pinas City na sinalakay kamakailan.

Sa sulat ni Ananias Christain Vargas kay Okubo, hiniling na maipagamot ang 13 foreign workers ng Xinchuang Technologies Inc., na nasaktan sa ikinasang operasyon ng PNP – Anti-Cybercrime Group noong Hunyo 29.

Ani Vargas tatlo sa mga banyaga ay dumanas ng pananakit ng mga operatiba at may impormasyon aniya sila na ang isa ay may tama pa ng bala kayat dapat na maipasuri sa doktor.

“We seriously condemn this exhibition of police brutality against these unarmed foreign nationals, and declare that the use of force is not commensurate with the necessity to prevent escape, as you claim in your press statement. We also condemn your police officers on the ground’s continued refusal to allow the entry of an ambulance to transport these seriously injured and wounded to the nearest treatment facility,” ani Vargas.

Nabanggit pa nito na may utos na ang Legal Affairs Division ng PNP – ACG na ipasuri sa medical team ang mga diumanoy nasaktan na banyagang manggagawa,

Diin ni Vargas na napakahalaga na agad ng masuri ng mga doktor ang mga manggagawa upang hindi na lumala pa ang kanilang kondisyon.

Ipinadala din ang naturang sulat kay PNP Chief Benjamin Acorda Jr., Police BGen. Sidney Hernia, director ng PNP – ACG at Police Maj. Gen. Jon Arnaldo, director ng PNP – Directorate for Intelligence.
