BSP Governor Felipe Medalla nag-farewell call kay Pangulong Marcos
Personal na nagpaalam na kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Felipe Medalla.
Matatapos ang termino ni Medalla sa Hulyo 2.
Papalit sa puwesto ni Medalla si BSP Governor Ely Remolona.
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Marcos si Medalla para tapusin ang iniwang termino ni dating BSP Governor Benjamin Diokno na itinalaga naman bilang kalihim ng Department of Finance.
Kasama ni Medalla na nag-farewell call kay Pangulong Marcos si BSP Deputy Governor Bernadette Romulo-Puyat.
Si Medalla ay naging miyembro ng Monetary Board ng BSP simula noong Hulyo 2011.
Bago naitala sa BSP, nagsilbi si Medalla bilang Socioeconomic Planning Secretary at Director General ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) mula 1998 hanggang 2001.
Nagturo din si Medalla sa University of the Philippines’ School of Economics at naging dean ng apat na taon simula noong 1994.
