“These companies’ profiles are littered with dirty and deadly investments in fossil fuel projects that cause grave harm to health, livelihoods and local ecosystems and emitted tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Despite the urgency of rapidly reaching global zero emissions to solve the climate crisis and despite their declared commitment to align with climate goals, there has been no fundamental change in their policies and operations,” sabi ni Nacpil.

“As these companies face their shareholders, we are stepping up pressure on them through region wide protest actions, demanding an end to their financing of oil and gas projects and promotion of false solutions to the climate crisis like hydrogen and ammonia,” pahayag ni Nacpil.
