Pondo ng social services hindi gagamitin sa Maharlika Investment Fund
Tiniyak ng Bureau of Treasury na hindi magagamit ang pondo ng social services ng pamahalaan para sa panukalang Maharlika Investment Fund.
Sa pulong balitaan sa Quezon City, sinabi ni National Treasurer Rosalia de Leon, bagamat kukunin ang P50 bilyon na seed money sa gobyerno, hindi naman gagalawin ang pondo para sa social programs at sa edukasyon.
Sabi ni de Leon, kukunin kasi ang pondo sa dibidendo sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas at Philippine Gaming Corporation.
Katunayan, sinabi ni de Leon na makatutulong pa ang Maharlika sa health sector.
Sa panukala ng Kongreso, kukunin ang pondo ng Maharlika Fund sa BSP, mga gaming revenues, Landbank at Development Bank of the Philippines.
