World Balance, 2 pang kompaniya inasunto ng BIR sa ‘ghost receipts’
Pormal na inireklamo sa Department of Justice (DOJ)ng tax evasion ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ang tatlong kompaniya dahil sa paggamit ng mga pekeng resibo.
Sinabi ni BIR Comm. Romeo Lumagui nagbunga ito ng pagkawala ng P17.9 bilyong kita ng gobyerno.
Diin ng opisyal na nais niyang papanugutin ang tatlong kompaniya – World Balance, CHK Steel, at Gamon Resources.
Aniya ang tatlong kompaniya ay 2018 pa nasgimulang gumamit ng mga peke o “ghost receipts.”
Nabatid na ang sindikato ay nagrerehistro ng “ghost companies” na magbebenta ng mga orihinal na resibo na gagamitin namna para mabawasan ang buwis na babayaran ng mga kompaniya.
