Nasabat ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Customs – Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA) ang mga tarantula na dadalhin sana sa Seoul, South Korea. .
Ayon sa BOC, idineklara ang mga tarantula na snacks-sweet salted fish sa Central Mail Exchange Center noong Hunyo 19.
Pero sa pagbusisi ng BOC nabatid na walang kaukulang dokumento ang kargamento mula sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Sabi ng BOC, isang indibidwal mula sa Caloocan City ang nagpadala ng parcel sa pamamagitan ng Express Mail Service sa Philippine Postal Corporation (Phlpost).
Ibinigay na sa DENR ang pangangalaga ng mga tarantula sa DENR.
