So there’s a little progres there, kaya actually ang BFAR (Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources) may projection na lalaki ang huli kasi nabawasan nga, nabigyan pagkakataon ang ating mga fishermen. That is because we are continuing to talk to the Chnese government, to the President Xi in every way, ” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos. “We are making some progress in that regard. And also the coordination, kapag may fishing ban, may coordination na tayong ginagawa sa kanila, para hindi na lang bigla fishing ban na ngayon, makapagplano naman tayo. Kapag sasabihin may fishing ban in two months time, planuhin na natin. Ano gagawin ng mangingisda, so bigyan natin sila ng ibang livelihood or other source of income. That is slowly, slowly,  these things do not come very quickly, slowly, slowly, but we are slowly making progress because the key to that is the improved communication between the Philippine government and the Chinese government, ” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
