Dating Defense Sec. Pong Biazon nailibing na sa Libingan ng mga Bayani
Naihatid na si dating Senator Rodolfo ‘Pong’ Biazon sa kanyang huling hantungan sa Libingan ng mga Bayani sa Taguig City.
Binigyan siya ng full military funeral honors ng service branches ng AFP.
Naging AFP Chief of Staff si Biazon noong 1991. Ang huling posisyon sa gobyerno ni Biazon ay kinatawa sa Kamara ng Muntinlupa City hanggang noong 2016.
Kabilang sa mga nakipaglibing si Defense Sec. Gilberto Teodoro.
Bago ang libing nagselebra muna ng huling Banal na Misa sa Philippine Marines at kinilala ng kanyang anak, si Muntinlupa City Ruffy Biazon ang mga nagawa ng yumaong ama.
“Right now, it is time for us to say goodbye to Papa in this world. We send him off with the love. We send him off with the knowledge he has done well, the faithful public servant,” anang alkalde.
Sumakabilang buhay si Biazon noong Hunyo 12 sa edad na 88.
