Apat na volcanic earthquake, 307 rockfall events at 13 dome-collapse pyroclastic density current events ang naitala sa Bulkang Mayon sa nakalipas na 24 oras.
Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, nakikita sa bunganga ng bulkan ang mabagal na pag-agos ng lava mula sa summit crater.
Nasa 826 tonelada ng sulfur dioxide flux ang ibinuga ng bulkan kahapon, Hunyo 15.
Ayon sa Phivolcs, katamtaman ang pagsingaw ng plume na umabot sa 750 metrong taas at napadpad sa pangkalahatang kanluran at hilaga hilagang-silangan.
Sa ngayon, nanatili sa Alert Level 3 ang bulkan.
“In the past 24-hour period, very slow effusion of lava from the summit crater of Mayon Volcano continued to feed lava flows and collapse debris on the Mi-isi (south) and Bonga (southeastern) gullies. The lava flows have advanced to approximately one (1) kilometer from the summit crater while collapse debris have deposited to two (2) kilometers from the crater,” sabi ng Phivolcs.
