Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, tectonic ang origin ng lindol na may lalim na anim na kilometro.
Naramdaman ang Intensity III sa Odiongan, Rombolon at Intensity II sa Looc, Romblon.
Wala namang inaasahang aftershocks matapos ang lindol.
Wala ring naitalang ari-arian ang nasira dahil sa lindol.
