Ito ay dahil sa patuloy na pag-aalburuto ng Bulkang Mayon at isailalim sa Alert Level 3.
Ayon sa Facebook post ng Albay Public Information Office, nagsagawa ng special session ang Sangguniang Panlalawigan para ipasa ang resolusyon na nagdedeklara sa probinsya ng Albay sa state of calamity.
Matatandaang ilang residente na ang inilikas dahil sap ag-aalburuto ng bulkan.
