102,000 family food packs inihanda na ng DSWD para sa Albay
Nasa 102,000 na family food pack ang inihanda na ng Department of Social Welfare and Development para sa mga residente sa Albay.
Inihanda ng DSWD ang mga family food pack para sa mga pamilya na maapektuhan ng pag-aalburuto ng Bulkang Mayon.
Ayon kay DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, tinawagan na ng kanilang hanay si Albay Governor Edcel Greco Lagman para tiyakin na sapat ang suplay ng relief goods.
Ayon kay Gatchalian, pinulong na ni Bicol Regional Director Norman Laurio ang mga mayor ng 10 siyudad at munisipalidad sa Albay.
Kabilang sa mga bayan na maaring maapektuhan ang uinobatan, Camalig, Daraga, Tabaco City, Malilipot, Sto. Domingo, Bacacay, Ligao City, Daraga at Legaspi City.
“Ang primary objective po natin is preparing for the worst possible scenario without compromising the lives of would-be affected families,” sabi ni Laurio.
Binisita na ni Laurio ang ibat ibang lugar sa Albay.
“The emergency meeting aimed to discuss, plan and strategize necessary measures to address the potential consequences of the current volcanic unrest of Mt. Mayon. The purpose of the meeting is also to refresh and ensure preparedness and establish a response framework to effectively assist and support affected communities in the event of a volcanic eruption,” pahayag ni Laurio.
