Itinaas sa Alert Level 3 ang Bulkang Mayon.
Base sa pinakahuling bulletin ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, lumakas pa at dumami ang volume of rockfall events sa bulkan mula nang ilagay sa Alert Level 2 noong Lunes.
Nasa 267 na rockfall events at dalawang volcanic earthquake ang naitala mula Hunyo 5 hanggang 8.
Mas marami ito kumpara sa 54 rockfall events na naitala mula noong Hunyo 1 hanggang 4.
Dahil nasa Alert Level 3, nangangahulugan ito na nagpapakita ng magmatic eruption ang bulkan.
