Philippine Export Development Plan aprubado na ni Pangulong Marcos

Inaprubahan na ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Philippine Export Development Plan 2023-2028.
Sa pulong balitaan sa Malakanyang, sinabi ni Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual na layunin ng programa na mapalakas pa ang importasyon ng Pilipinas.
Hindi kasi aniya maikakaila na nahuhuli ang Pilipinas sa pag-e-export ng produkto kumpara sa ibang bansa.
“As you may know, the Philippines is lagging behind our neighboring countries when it comes to export. We can consider ourselves as ‘laggards’ currently, so this plan will help us uplift the government’s—I mean, the Philippines’ performance in exports. It may not be to… yet match the levels achieved by the more progressive neighbors that we have but it will certainly improve the volume of our exports,” pahayag ni Pascual.
Ayon kay Pascual, pinatutugunan ni Pangulong Marcos ang bottleneck o mga balakid sa exportation.
Halimbawa na ayon sa kalihim ang pagbibigay ng mga pagsasanay, sapat na kaalaman, kagamitan para makipagsabayan ang Pilipinas sa mga kalapit na bansa.
Bibigyang prayoridad aniya ng administrasyon ang sektor ng ndustrial machinery and transport cluster; technology, media and telecommunications; health and life sciences cluster at pang-apat ang modern basic needs gaya ng food security, energy security, at iba pang basic needs.
