Suplay ng tubig sa MM binawasan pero tuloy-tuloy – MWSS
Binawasan ang suplay ng tubig sa Metro Manila na mula sa Angat Dam, ngunit walang putol sa serbisyo.
Ito ang ibinahagi ni MWSS Division Manager Engineer Patrick James Dizon at aniya walang epekto na 52 cubic meter per second (cms) na lamang ang alokasyon ng tubig sa Metro Manila.
Una nang pinagbigyan ng National Water Resources Board (NWRB) ang hiling ng MWSS na panatilihin ang 52 cms alokasyon sa dalawng water concessionaires hanggang Hunyo 15, at 50 cms mula naman Hunyo 16 hanggang Hulyo 30.
Ayon pa kay Dizon wala ng pangangailangan para limitahan ang alokasyon sa susunod na buwan.
Aniya, kadalasan ay umaangat ang antas ng tubig sa Angat Dam simula Hulyo.
“We are hopeful that by June or July we would have weather interventions that would increase the water elevations in our dams,” aniya.
Kahapon, bumaba sa 189.64 metro ang antas ng tubig sa Angat Dam at mataas pa ito sa minimum operational level na 183 metro.
