Katapatan, pagpapahalaga sa oras ipinag-utos ni Abalos sa LGUs
Nagpalabas ng kautusan si Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr., sa mga lokal na pamahalaan na nagpapahalaga sa katapatan at oras para mas makapagbigay ng de-kalidad na serbisyo sa publiko.
“All LGUs are mandated to organize programs that will raise awareness of time consciousness and honesty as twin values that are essential in bringing about national progress and development,” ani Abalos sa kanyang kautusan.
Ang utos ay bahagi ng paggunita sa buwan ng Hunyo bilang Time Consciousness and Honesty Month sa ilalim ng We Advocate Time Consciousness and Honesty (WATCH), ang programa sa ilalim naman ng Presidential Proclamation No. 1782 na inilabas noong Mayo 21, 2009.
Ang proyekto ay bunga ng pakikipagtulungan sa JCI Senate Philippines, sa Department of Education (DepEd), sa Commission on Higher Education (CHEd), sa Technical Education and Skills Education Authority (TESDA), sa Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities, sa Philippine Association of Private Schools, sa Colleges, and Universities (PAPSCU), sa Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) at sa Office of the Presidential Assistant for Education.
