Negosasyon sa bilateral free trade agreement ng Pilipinas at EU, buksang muli

Humihirit si Pangulong Ferdinand resident Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na ibalik na ang negosasyon sa bilateral free trade agreement sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at European Union.

Sa pahayag ng Pangulo sa EU-Asean Business acouncil annual meeting gala dinner sa Makati City, sinabi nito na malaking tulong ang free trade agreement para maging conducice business atmosphere ang Pilipinas.

Sinabi pa ng Pangulo na win-win strategy ang bilateral free trade agreement sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at EU.

“Hence, I take this opportunity to call upon our friends from the EU ABC and the ECCP (European Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines) to actively advocate for the resumption of negotiations for this purpose as well as to strive for fair treatment and more beneficial reciprocity,” Marcos added.

“If and when that happens, it could very well be the capstone of all efforts to strength PH-EU relations over the course of the next decades,” dagdag ng Pangulo.

Ayon sa Pangulo, pinagsusumikapan ng administrasyon na makabuo ng “enabling environment” para makamit ang tangible socio-economic goals para sa taong bayan.

Nagpatupad na aniya ang pamahalaan ng mga reporma para mapalakas pa ang pagnenegosyo sa bansa.
